Athirapally Falls is situated in the border of Kuttampuzha Panchayat in Aluva Taluk, of Ernakulam District and Athirappilly Panchayat in Chalakudy Taluk of Thrissur District in Kerala, India on the Chalakudy River, which originates from the upper reaches of the Western Ghats at the entrance to the Sholayar ranges.
Arrival at Cochin Airport / Railway Station and transfer to Munnar. This beautiful hill station was once the summer capital of the British Government in India. The never ending vast expanse of tea plantations and the round the year moderate climate makes it a little haven for visitors. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at Munnar.
After breakfast proceed for sightseeing and visit Rose Garden, Photo Point, Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point and the Kundala Lake & Top Station. Boating facilities are available at Mattupetty Dam and Kundala Lake. Evening visit Tea Museum and Botanical Garden.
Optional Activities at Munnar: Motor Boat or Speed Boat Ride at Mattupetty Dam, Elephant Safari, Trekking, Ayurveda Massage etc.
Later evening back to the hotel. Overnight stay at Munnar.
Morning drive to Thekkady covering a distance of 110 kms / 4 hrs through cardamom hills. Check into the resort. After lunch take a boat ride on the lake and the Periyar dam. Boating will take approximate 2 hours and you can also get rare glimpses of wild animals. The forest department offers many programs including periyar tiger trail, nature walk, bamboo rafting, etc. Plantation tourism also is promoted by private agencies, you can see and learn the cultivation of various spices of Kerala. Overnight stay at Thekkady.
After breakfast, proceed drive to Vagamon. Visit the famous Kurisumala, Pine Forests and Vagamon Meadows welcome you to a world of magical beauty. The Vagamon falls and suicide point are other places along with tea gardens that offer a soothing sight for your eyes. Later back to hotel. Overnight stay at Vagamon.
Optional: Uluppuni Off Road Jeep Safari / Paragliding point, one of the most demanding activities in Vagamon. Paragliding taking you to the dream of flying over the sky without wings for being close touch with the air and to observe the stunning beauties of the nearby places.
After breakfast, checkout from the hotel and proceed drive to Alleppey. Afternoon check in to the houseboat in Alleppey by noon for cruising through the legendary backwaters of Kerala. The houseboat is a private boat with a fully furnished spacious bath attached bedrooms, a hygienic kitchen, a dining area and a private front deck to capture the beauty of the backwaters. Check out from the houseboat and proceed to Cochin for a bit of sightseeing like Fort Cochin – Optional Marine Drive Boating (By Own Expenses) visit Chinese fishing net, Mattanchery Palace Santa Cruz Basilica and shopping. Later evening back to hotel. Overnight stay at Cochin.
Check out from the hotel and proceed to visit Athirapally Falls. En route visit Thumboormuzhy Dam & River View Garden, Natural River Bath – Butterfly Park, Hanging Bridge. Later evening drive back & drop at Cochin Airport / Railway Station for return journey.
