Kodaikanal – Referred to as the “Princess of Hills”, Kodaikanal is one of the most sought-after hill station destinations in Tamil Nadu and the whole of India. Located at about 7000 ft (2,133.6 m) above sea level, Kodaikanal was established as a destination by British bureaucrats and Christian missionaries in the year of 1845. However, the earliest references to the stunning hill station can be found as early as the Sangam literature time. However, the modern era of Kodaikanal began only after the British came in. It served as a summer retreat and a vacation spot for the colonial power. Ever since those days, Kodaikanal has been a popular choice among hill station lovers for a quick escape up the mountains.
The verdant hills, the cascading waterfalls, the picturesque lakes, pristine countrysides – the reason why Kodaikanal has been popular among tourists are many. For a discerning traveller, the locale offers much to see, enjoy and experience. Plenty of activities await a visitor here. Boating, cycling, horse riding and trekking are some of the most common among them. One of the other spectacles of this region is the Kurinji flower which blooms only once in 12 years, making itself a unique spectacle to watch.
Poombarai is situated just 50 km from the Kodaikanal Lake and is a tiny hamlet famous for its production of garlic. It is a part of Palani hills and stands at a height of 1,920 m, situated among terraced fields and vast, lush greenery. The picture-perfect Poombarai is adorned with the view of colourful roofs of houses set amidst the enticing hills.

Arrival at Dindigul Junction or Kodai Road Railway Station in the Morning. Upon arrival, we will pick you up and transfer you to Kodaikanal. Check in to the Hotel. After Refreshment, Proceed to visit, La Saelth
Church, Dolphin Nose, Vattakanal Falls, Lion Cave, Echo Rock, Mountain Beauty , 500 Yrs Old Tree and Boating at Kodai Lake. Evening, enjoy your time at Kodaikanal Lake side. Later, back to the Hotel. Overnight Stay at Kodaikanal.
After breakfast proceed drive to visit Silent Valley View, Fire Watch Tower, Berijam Lake View, Caps Valley View, Mathikettan Solai & Berijam Lake. Evening back to Hotel and Overnight stay in Kodaikanal.
After breakfast, proceed drive to visit Poombarai Village. Visit the Rose Garden, Palani Hill View, Mahalakshmi Temple, Poombarai Village View, Saibaba Temple, Kulandhai Velappar Temple (3000 Year Old), and Mannavanur Lake. Evening back to Hotel and Overnight stay in Kodaikanal.
After breakfast check out from hotel in the morning and drive out for a sightseeing visit Upper Lake
View, Pine Tree Forest, Moier Point, Guna Cave, Pillar Rock, Golf Course Green Valley View, Pambar Falls, Kurinji Temple and Palani View, Bryant Park and Chettiyar Park. Later evening, proceed drive to Dindigul / Kodai Road Railway Station (Depending upon your departure location) for return journey.
